At the Japan Pavilion Disney gardeners didn't try to reproduce a specific Japanese garden but have created a landscape similar to the styles found in the Pacific Rim nation. Japanese gardens are informal unlike traditional Western or European gardens. Rocks, water and plants in varying shade of green play a key role in these gardens which are rich in symbolism and asymmetry. The sounds of rustling bamboo and running water are used to invite guests for a closer look. At the Japan Pavilion guests will learn more about Bonsai care.
