Another aspect of the Japanese garden presented at the Japan Pavilion is "kare-sansui" or dry landscape where elements such as gravel or stones are used to re-create natural settings even a seascape with small islands.

At the Morocco pavilion Disney gardeners highlight the nation's focus on farming. Morocco is nation bordered by the sea and desert. Citrus trees, date palms and various spices grow at the base of Morocco's Koutoubia Minaret, a replica of a famous 12th century prayer tower found in Mirrakesh.
